INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Environmental Health Intern
Walworth County Division of Public Health
Under immediate supervision of the HS Manager – Public Health, this position will assist the Environmental Health Unit in completing water sampling and vector monitoring programs. Duties will include: collecting appropriate samples for drinking and recreational water analysis, performing analysis activities in the water laboratory, maintaining all appropriate documentation for water sampling programs, providing education and information on environmental health matters and attending training and in-service as appropriate. 

This is an opportunity for a current college student to gain valuable experience in the Environmental Health Unit of Public Health. Schedule flexibility available within the office hours of Monday – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. This is a paid internship in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. The position is expected to start in May and end in August 2019.
