In case you missed it—the WEHA Board updated our bylaws in September. Check them out here. The new bylaws bring a new committee—the Strategic Planning Committee. We are looking for members to make up this new committee.

What’s the time commitment?
In the first year, plan on meeting once a month virtually for about 2 hours
There may be some small group projects that take an additional 2 hours a month (optional)
Who should participate?
Anyone interested in EH! That means students, new EH professionals, and seasoned EH professionals; all are welcome!

A new year is all about eliminating the bad and focusing on improvements. Let’s eliminate one bad gas as January is Radon Action Month. This webinar will provide the basics on the Wisconsin program structure as well as funding. Promotion of radon testing statewide (community examples) and nationally; EPA resources and other state promos will be discussed.

Body art is a growing practice across the US – with new shops, new procedures, new equipment (jewelry and inks) becoming available. Building or growing a sound regulatory program around this ever-evolving topic can be a challenge! Who? Environmental and public health/science students (undergraduate or graduate)
What? Students will be entered into a lottery to receive FREE conference registration and a 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn, Eau Claire; 10 Student stipends are available
